I just wanted to say hi! I found your blog through Denise's blog (geekgirl415). I have just started to try and learn how to take pictures and wanted to jump in and join in on your challenges (hopefully my pics will get better with each passing week too). Here's my first try (hopefully my link on my name works). Thanks again! ~M

Thanks for checking out my blog! I love the idea of a weekly photo challenge. I think I'm going to join in, what better week to start than the first full week of the new year!

On the flickr page I said that I loved the edges. I really like the furls of the paper and the sharp edges that haven't been burned. Very cool. My mom and I have both purchased photos of toilets. They can be very cool pictures! I'm looking forward to this coming week.

Not to bad on NOT burning your house down. Good thing you didn't do this right after the kitchen was FRESHLY painted. The fumes and fire might not have gone so well.

This is pretty cool. I like the detail of the burned spots on the paper.

Yes, toilet. Work with me here. It can be really good. Or it can be really bad. It's up to you. ;)

I absolutely LOVE the shot, B. Hope you don't have too many burn marks on your kitchen walls, but hey, it was worth it!

Toilet? Seriously?
