In the movie “You’ve Got Mail,” they talk about school supplies and bouquets of sharpened pencils. I have to agree, I love the stuff. I actually had to make it a year long goal of mine not to buy another pack of Sharpies. I did it, but friends felt sorry for me and I got about 20 of them for Christmas that year :) Clickable Sharpies are my favorites.

Dude. You are not alone!! I am psycho for pens, I have to stop myself from buying the $.30 pack of crayons at Wal-Mart EVERY TIME, and I absolutely LOVE notebooks. But my psychosis goes a little further because it takes me FOREVER to actually use a notebook….cause I don’t want to mess it up and I want it to have a specific purpose and I am just.not.that.organized.

Oh, I LOVE school supplies, well, office supplies! I love clean, empty notebooks! And I love I actually have a budget in my job for office supplies, lol!
I live your picture too. I have done photography in the past, not very talented as far as the equipment techie stuff goes, but I have an eye for it andI have always loved “pattern or texture type” pictures, such as the colored pencils!
I am going to follow, come visit me sometime!

You are not wrong and you are not a weirdo (at least not in a bad way). I love school and office supplies. Post-its, sharpies, pencils, notebooks (I have a million of ‘em), post-it flags, hi-liters, push pins, magnets, stickers, stencils, envelopes, stationery and I could go on. I could spent hours in Michael’s or Hobby Lobby just looking around.
That’s an awesome set of pencils you got going there!

I don’t know the underlying pscyhological factors, but I know what you mean. I love Office Max–for me it’s plastic templates (like for drawing curves) and colorful rulers.

Dude, the best part about going back to school is the fact that I have an excuse to buy school supplies now! But I’ve always been more excited about the folder and binders and organization supplies. I love me a good excuse to organize things into folders and binders. Not to mention packs full of empty notebook paper to fill up with stuff. So much potential in a new notebook and pack of new pens/pencils/whatnot!

I love school supplies, too. But only because I’m a nerd. Growing up I would get all excited to get all my school supplies ready for school. Pens, scissors, markers, crayons, the whole nine yards. But I also get excited to get all my textbooks. I read them over the summer so that I’d be on top of everything by the time school starts. NERD.
