Meet Marlow

This is Marlow.  Cute, isn’t he?

I squeezed off a few rounds of this pooch here while I was visiting friends with a new baby.  *shocker*  And even though he was nuts (I mean, bat-shit-crazy-nuts) when I first arrived, when I pulled out the kahuna, he was all “Look at me!  I’m a good dog!  I’m ready for my close up!

Can we say bi-polar?  Maybe.  Definitely maybe.  But I’m not one to judge.

Of course when a dog is staring at me, I’m going to try for some photos.  And if doesn’t, I’ll still try for some photos.  I’m a sucker for doggins.  We know this.  It isn’t a deep dark secret of any kind.  I love doggins.

But the best thing about Marlow?  His coat.  So soft.  So so so so so soft.  I want him as a pillow.  But I fear I’d be plagued with wet beard if I tried to take a nap on him.  And nobody likes a Captain Wet Beard.

Wendi @ Bon Appetit Hon - I love that his “beard” and “brows” are white. But the look he’s giving you in the bottom photo makes me kinda skeerd.

Debbie - I love love love his floppy ears! They look so soft and velvety. But I’m with you on the slobbering — I’ll take my Sheltie any time over something like that!

J. Smith - I call Clyde Captain Wetbeard the Pirate when he wants lovin’ after drinking water! I love Marlow.he’s awesome. Last new year’s eve he was just an itty bitty and I held him while he slept for like 4 hours. And he was even softer when he was such a wee lad.
