New Year. New Recommendations.

The New Year is here.  I don’t do resolutions.  Because I don’t follow through.  Why set myself up for disappointment.  But I do like to make a few new recommendations for myself for the New Year.  There’s always room for self-improvement, right?

OK, so for the New Year here’s to taking my doggins for more walks, worrying less, making a good dinner once a week, becoming best friends with Mac Daddy, not throwing that accessory flash across the room, knitting more for my friends and family, putting the finishing touches on the craft room, giving great hugs, figuring out my sewing machine, making macaroons, licking the bowl clean, see the glass half full, wearing high heels, going out dancing, mastering the Old Fashion cocktail, holding hands with the hubs, telling others I love them and singing Bon Jovi.

No resolutions allowed.  Only recommendations.  But I think it’s a pretty darn good list.  It’s a good start.

Here’s to the New Year… 2011… sounds like we should be driving cars like the Jetsons by now.

Note: My internet connection is touch and go this week.  Don’t be surprised if I fall behind on anything – I’ll be sure to catch up asap!

Elizabeth - …and eating a bowl of ice cream (or two, or three!)

Debbie - I am so with you on the idea of recommendations, not resolutions! The former sounds like stuff that’s within reach; the latter, not so much.

Becki D - Hmm. I think I like your recommendations better than my resolution. Wanna trade?? Then again, no. My resolution would turn you into Skeletor and your recommendations would have me looking like the Marshmallow Man.

Happy New Year!

katie o. - These recommendations are perfect. Who likes or even sticks to resolutions anyway? I may just have to steal your thunder.
Hope you’re having a blast this week!
