I’ve had so much fun flipping through the Flickr Group’s photos this week. So many different ideas, so many different executions, and all this purple is brightening up this cloudy weather we’re having. (As a side note, my heart goes out to the folks in the Northeast who are expecting a foot of snow this weekend – I wish you warmth.) A spotlight was in order because I’ve been clicking over to Flickr every few hours just to see if any pictures have joined the group. But here are some of my favorites!
I am a sucker for flowers – I love to look at them, smell and photograph them. But these bluebells are just so cute! Kim captured their color oh-so-well.
I dig. I dig. I dig. This is more than just rock climbing shoes. This is storytelling. And I think it’s a wonderful shot.

Sprinkles are totally the best thing in the world to photograph. And eat. Nom.
The soft hues win me over. Now pass the sprinkles.
Duffalo never disappoints – always clever and artistic. This is funny and I love it!
Easter is here. With purple stuff. And some fantastic light box magic!
This baby has got to be one of the cutest babies in the world. IN THE WORLD.
Those big round eyes, those big cheeks, that fluffy hair… *thud*.
Someone experimented with exposures! This is fantastic. It’s so fun and so purple.

Mrs. Rev – you did it again – you knocked it out of the park. She goes into all the wicked details on her blog about using the manual mode, setting up her shot and post-processing. She’s my hero.
I lurve this. From the bottom of my heart. This makes me want to travel so bad because let’s face, sunsets are NOT the same everywhere in the world. This is beautiful – thank you for sharing it.
Completely embraces the subject. You look at it and think “purple.” And Keith shared how he captured this shot on his family blog – you people are so darn creative.
This is definitely one of those weeks where I’m inspired by the Challengers. I really do enjoy looking at the photos submitted each week, I love reading the comments you guys share and it makes me feel connected to all of you. I hope you’re enjoying the challenge, finding inspiration and already scratching your head about “circle” for next week. Keep it up guys – you rock!
