I almost missed my own deadline this week. Last night, I was relaxing and taking in some What Not To Wear, thinking about how I would love to have Stacy and Clinton teach me how to shop since I hate it, when a moment of panic brought me back to reality. Had I worked on my photo for this week? Or did I only dream it? I grabbed my camera to see that my subject was still on the CF card – I totally dreamed it.
I do that a lot. Dream that something happened and then it really didn’t. I have a wonderful imagination. One of these days I’m actually going to keep a dream journal and then maybe turn some into short stories. They’re that good.
Here is my circle:
Even though the subjects are randomly chosen, I’ve jotted down a few notes as I review it each week. Next to circle, I reminded myself of the old rotary phone prop we have at work. Circles galore on this thing. And of course I had to give it spin. Slower shutter speeds are fun to experiment with but they always make me feel unbalanced. At least when weebles wobble, they don’t fall down.
A few more folks have jumped in the WPC Flickr Group so if you haven’t checked it out lately, you totally should. And the Challenger Roll was updated last week – so many fun and clever blogs to get lost in.
Now on to Week 15… random generator roll please… our next subject for the challenge will be MOVEMENT. Well I be darned – I was just talking about slowing down shutter speeds! This is a fun subject to experiment with and I’m already looking forward to seeing how you guys capture movement. Good luck and happy snapping!!

Wendi @ Bon Appetit Hon - Brooke, I’m glad you said something about the slow shutter because I was wondering where the piece was that you use to dial. Ahh the memories of trying to dial one of these after a few adult beverages…always and adventure.
Joan Nova - We are just up to that (shutter speed) in my photo class and that is my assignment for this week. How serendipitous!
omawarisan - What a cool shot. How many did you have to take before you got your finger out of the frame in time?
Rotary phones are a lot of phone to explain to teenagers.
