This little piece of interweb real estate came to be after some major over thinking and major boredom. And even after that came indecisiveness and fear. But no less, it came to be any way. And this week, it turns two.
My blogiversary. The start of the start of shutterboo. We need to celebrate. I think we need to regift the gift of Pro.
Passing along something that has been passed to you gives it more meaning. So even though it’s been a couple years since Susan gave me the gift of Pro, the baton is going to be passed again. Because for me, it’s opened new windows and created new friendships and it’s pretty frickin rad. So one (1) lucky reader will also become a Pro.
For the slow kids in the back, I’m talking about Flickr. (Were you not here last year? No? Glad you could join us this year!)
Flickr does offer free services but there’s restrictions including how much you can upload in a month. With a Flickr Pro account you get: unlimited uploads and storage, access to your original files (muy importante), stats on your account, Ad-Free browsing (yes please) and HD playback for videos. Sounds like a lot more fun, no?
If you don’t already have a Flickr account, you’ll set one up and we’ll make you a Pro. If you have a Flickr account, we’ll make you a Pro. If you’re already a Flickr Pro account holder, you get additional year of these services. I dig this idea and am excited to host a giveaway again. I hope you’ll agree.
So here’s the skinny:
1. In order to qualify for the giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment on this here blog entry. It can be about anything. How much you love photography, how much you love blogging or about that crazy dream you had last night with the talking donkey.
2. A valid email address must be included so that 1) I can notify you and 2) I can email you your new gift.
3. Your comment must be on this post. The giveaway closes Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 9pm EST. The winner will be announced Friday! (I’m happy to provide even more reasons to look forward to Friday.)
Good luck, friends!!
Note: Flickr is not providing this service. This is a gift from shutterboo.
