Week 31: Small

A light bulb went off last week.  And I started drawing my idea on paper.

This has happened before – an idea strikes and I’m able to sketch it.  If I can sketch it, I can photograph it.  Well… almost.

Here is my small:

Week 31: Small

It doesn’t exactly match my initial sketch, but the idea was executed.  With fabulous co-workers to boot.  (Beautiful, fabulous co-workers, thank you for indulging me and camera.)  And you see where I was going with this.  Small is relative.  So when these two fabulous co-workers are paired, one is immediately viewed as smaller.  My intention was to frame both faces, with one cut off under the nose and the other just above.  But it didn’t look as good once I photographed it.  I opted for the crop.  I dig it.

You gotta check out the WPC Flickr Group – there are some thoughtful “small” photos.  And if you need some mid-afternoon reading, visit the Challenger Roll and see what other challengers are writing about.

Week 32 is now here – I think I might be in calendar shock because August is already upon us.  Time flies when you’re having fun.  And our next subject for the challenge will be LINES.  This can be one where you can play it safe or you push yourself.  Either way you choose, happy snapping!
