I was gone last week. On a cruise ship.
Not the cruise ship that capsized. Thank goodness. But a big floating vessel nonetheless.
I was somewhere warm, sunny, humid enough to turn my dry hands into soft lady-like hands again.
But now I’m back. And it’s raining. And dark. And not so warm.
I missed you.
But not this weather.

Mary Beth - Welcome Back! I hope you had a lovely time. Maybe you can leave again one day? I’m going to leave one day. I’ll just pack my things and for those I care about the most will leave instructions buried under a rock, under a tree, in a field ala Shawshank Redemption style. They’ll find me sanding my boat, sipping on a Corona, on the beach. It’ll be just like now except it will be warm with more sand and I’ll be less drunk because I’ll be more relaxed ;). Ok, back to work…hiccup…
