Heather and Robby.  What can I say besides these two were made for each other.

Cross my fingers, stick a needle in my eye – two peas in a pod.  No doubts about it.

Robby is a former fab co-worker.  Now he’s just fab.  Heather is fab too.  Actually, she’s probably more fab because she’s got dance moves for days.  Sadly, I haven’t seen Robby dance.  But anyway, when Robby contacted me about engagement photos, I was all over it.  I knew it would be hella fun and I knew that it would be somewhere great.  He said he wanted to hit up the alleys we had taken photowalks on during lunch breaks when we worked together.  Greatness was gone – stoked better describes how I felt.  So we set out, the three of us, and seeing these two together, without any outside disturbances, confirmed my prior beliefs.

Made for each other.  No doubts about it.

Things you should know about these guys?  They’re kids at heart, always looking for the next fun thing to try out.  Robby is a fantastic illustrator and every time I walk into Against the Grain, I say, “I know the artist.”  They’re support for each other is transparent.  Heather can’t not smile – I love her for it.  They keep instruments in the car that they don’t know how to play.  They laugh at themselves.  And they’re rad.

Rad is a synonym for fabulous.  It just sounds way cooler.

I usually don’t make my posts photo-heavy.  I can usually narrow down the viewing party for the blog.  But I couldn’t do it this time.  There’s too many “oh-man-oh-man” pics and non-stop color and… well… you’ll have to forgive me for making you scroll down so much.  But I know you will.  Forgive me, that is.

*knock-me-off-my-feet love*

Aaaannnddd BOOM.

Or rather… BAM!

I absolutely adore the way Heather looks at Robby. Every time I see her catching a glimpse of him, I can’t help but sigh.

After being together for years (I believe “nine” is what I heard, right guys?), they’re getting married in a matter of weeks.  They’ve been on several adventures together.  Drove miles upon miles into the Wild West.  Toured Japan.  Visited a the vacuum cleaner museum.  Spontaneous is their middle names.  But now they get to look to a new adventure, one they’ve never taken before.  And I know they’re going to have an awesome ride.  Best wishes to two of the raddest people I know.

Brooke - Heather has a Fuji mini instax. Very fun camera to play with – it’s been years since I’d even touched an instant film camera.

katie o. - You already know how I feel about these photos, but I’ll say it again…FABULOUS. This might be one of the most adorable couples I’ve ever seen photographed. Everything works here. The backdrop, the feel, and the emotion. Congratulations to this adorable couple.
