
• My FAVORITE thing about warm weather is painted toes and sandals. I love having my nails painted. My love extends to cute, flat sandals. I don’t just love them, I lurve them.
• The color I’m obsessing over right now is Loreal’s Club Prive. It’s fun. Inexpensive. Teal. And I have fun matching it to random things.
• Like the accents in our hotel room at Union Station. And accessories I pass by in the store. And my striped sweater.
• I’ve been quite the worker bee outside these days. I knocked out weeding, mulching, mowing and planting potted flowers in two days.
• I did not, however, work on my tan. Sunscreen was slathered on to protect my freckles.
• I’ve also been crafting more. I signed on for a little challenge to brighten my June, 30 Days of Creativity, and I’ve been doing simple projects everyday. So far, Im 12 for 12.
• So in the land of girl stuff, I watched The Last Song the other day. Someone had said that Miley did a great job in the movie (I could disagree, but why bother) and it came on cable. And that’s almost free.
• Throughout the entire first half of the movie I kept thinking there was something eerie about it, but no – there was no way that this was a book-turned-movie by that one author because it took place in Georgia, not the Carolinas. Then someone died.
• Nicholas Sparks, I can smell your writing from a mile away! Beach city on the Southeast coast, love love and more love and BOOM! someone dies. Same. Story. Every. Time.
• But, of course… though I hate to admit it… I cried. Dagnubbit.

J. Smith - Can you feel me through the interwebz judging you for indulging in any Nicholas Sparks crap no matter how free? Because I am. Just say no. I still love you. We all make mistakes sometimes. :-P
