Talk about a blast from the past! I seriously have not seen Laura since high school, so when she emailed me about family photos, I was all over it. Of course, I stay in close touch with her brother and his family, but I hadn’t had the chance to meet Laura’s family. So we set a time (very early) and a place (her mother inlaw’s backyard) and got to work. It may have been a little toasty for 8:30am, but I like to think we had a great time hanging out. :)
Laura has the same smile I remember from high school and her husband Stephan was so kind. To see them fawn over their little guy, Connor ? Jeez… talk about a love fest. Laura calls Connor her miracle baby – he was born eight weeks early and still so small for being six months old, but he is such a precious little thing. Big bright eyes, smiles to sound of his momma’s voice – just a sweet, sweet tatertot. And in dad’s arms, Connor melts into the crook of his arm or against his chest. These two deserve this miracle baby. And I feel honored that I got to photograph the three of them together, happy as can be.

I mean, look at this little guy – how can you not fall in love with those big eyes and his little lips?!?

Confession: This is my fave. I have not stopped starring at it. I tell myself it’s Connor’s kissy face. *love it*

I love how comfortable they were together. It was like I wasn’t even there. Like they were hanging out in the gazebo after breakfast.
OK, another confession: I love this one a lot too. Laura and Stephan’s smiles just do me in. *gah*

Daddy’s with their babies? And sweet little kisses to little bald heads? My cup runneth over.
Such a beautiful family. Such a sweet family. I left them that morning and smiled all day. I just couldn’t help myself.
