As much as I love to meet new folks, I get just as excited getting to photograph people I already know. Especially those who I have a history with. Mary is one of those.
I remember the first time I met Mary – she was a young, vibrant 18-year-old. She was very talkative, ready to make friends and never turned down a moment to make a memory. I say that because some of my favorite memories from college involve Mary and something ridiculously funny. Heck, some of my favorite memories since college involve Mary. Luckily, some things never change. :)
As a young couple, it’s easy to overlook something as simple as getting your photos taken, to capture you and your spouse together. There may not be kids yet, but that’s no reason to not want to focus on each other and your love. Mary and her honey, Matt, have been married for five years now. And I was happy to get them in front of my camera, to focus on them.
I love Mary’s dark, warm eyes. I’m a sucker for brown eyes.
I had such a wonderful time with my friend and her husband. It was fun to tell them my lame jokes, laugh at my lame jokes and just see them be together. They make a handsome pair, round each other out and I’m happy that Mary has found Matt. They make it look easy.
