NOLA in Black+White

The hubs and I made our way to New Orleans at the end of the year to 1) take a break from the real world and 2) cheer on the Louisville Cardinals in the Sugar Bowl.  Since we got there a few days early (or five), we did a lot of walking, touring, viewing, site-seeing, relaxing, driving, ooh-ing, ahh-ing… it was a fun trip.

While it wasn’t my first time in New Orleans, I did get to see different things time around.  And I have to say one of my favorite days was the day we went to the zoo.  I don’t know why, but I love going to zoos.  And the zoo in New Orleans did not disappoint.  And the day we got breakfast in the French Quarter… and made about four more trips to the French Quarter that same day.  But wherever we went, Paco, my trusty little point-and-shoot camera came with me – that’s right, no dSLR on this trip.  But I didn’t need it.

Here’s a look at our trip to New Orleans.
