It seems there’s always a buzz about cruises when we get home from ours. Last year a Costa ship wrecked along the Tuscan coast and this year Carnival experienced a fire in their engine room. Both are awful and I can’t imagine the experience or conditions that these cruises had to deal with. But luckily, our third cruise went on without a hitch.
We decided to go West this year since we’d gone East the last two years to the Virgin Islands. And though I wasn’t as big of a fan of these islands, we had the most relaxing time with Martha and Alan. We took a few adventures, we took a lot of naps, we sunned, we knitted, we watched movies, we ate dessert with purpose – it was perfect. Well, almost.
I’m happy to report that I didn’t injure myself while on vacation this year. I did have a run in with the BDD the evening before we left (bad dog), but I totally managed to toss my cookies while on a catamaran. I blame the gallon of sea water I swallowed by accident snorkeling… but nonetheless it was a miserable feeling and I was down for the count. So…
… other than that, it was PERFECT!
