My name is Brooke. I’m just a gal taking a stab at the interweb with my first blog: shutterboo. So far I’ve stayed out of trouble – it’s a miracle. I’m keeping my fingers crossed though; it’s been effective so far.
I’m a Derby City native and love everything My Old Kentucky Home has to offer. The hubs (in the real world I call him Mike) and I share our nest with our doggins Chevy and Chase. World’s best dogs with not some of the best habits…but that’s what backyards are for [until they escape... boo dogs, boo].
I love a lot of things: Friends and family. Music and dancing. Eating. And photography. So while I sit at a desk with a 10-key for a living, I escape with my beloved kahuna to capture the things that surround me. It makes me happy and keeps me [somewhat] quiet. It works. I’ll keep it up. And maybe I’ll figure out Twitter while I’m at it. Godspeed.

When the dSLR is not in hand, I use my Canon PowerShot SD790 because it goes everywhere I go. And I’ve decided I’m naming it Paco – because typing “point and shoot” gets annoying. So does saying it.
