I’ve been a busy bee for the last two months. Diving head first into personal projects, expanding on ideas and taking several baby steps so that I would be ready to make a final leap. Today, I’m making the leap.
Some of you already know. Some of you probably figured it out with all the photos I’ve been sharing. But for the slow kids in the back, I’ll just say it out loud: I’m going pro. The Shutterboo blog has been rearranged and has a new look to coordinate with my new website, my new adventure, Shutterboo Photography.
Ah! You have no idea how many knots are in my stomach right now but it feels so good to share my big news that I’ve kept [mostly] to myself for weeks. Keeping secrets is stressful work. I don’t care for it. But I had to get my ducks in a row first. And the ducks are lined up as ever they’re going to be.
So yeah. I’m taking this gig to the streets, offering professional services to the masses, hoping to meet some wonderful people along the way, capture some beautiful images of their loved ones and broaden my photography experience even more. All while blogging. Could be fun, no?
My new adventure can go many different directions but I’m focusing on giving whatever comes my way my all. Thank you to my many friends who have encouraged and supported me (especially you, Susan). I hope I don’t disappoint! And thank you to the few photographers I reached out to that were so kind to share their business know-how – you ladies offered knowledge I wouldn’t have been able to find anywhere and I’m very appreciative. BIG thank you.
That’s about all the new news I can stand for now but if you’re in the Louisville area, keep your ears open for a grand opening announcement later this week!
